Description

If you’re in the middle of swapping a LSX motor into your Impala, you know how much work it can be. Even when you have all of the pieces you think you need, you find out the hard way that they don’t all work together. That can be really frustrating.

That frustration ends here with a bolt-in cooling system upgrade for your LSX motor. It has all of the correct connections for your LS motor and has the steam vent port installed too. It bolts in directly to your Impala. Depending on which motor mounts you’re using, an upper hose from a 1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse AWD turbo engine is almost a perfect fit.

This is made with 2-rows of 1″ tubes for cooling up to 600 LSX horsepower. This is made for running a LSX (LS1, LS2, LS3, LS7, LQ6, etc.) motor and has both hose connections on the passeger side, a steam vent port and the temperature switch installed directly into the radiator. This bolts in directly – no holes to drill or a trip to the hardware store for a parts hunt or drilling holes in your core support.

Features:

– 2-rows of 1″ cooling tubes

– The correct steam vent port, hose connections and temp sensor port for a LSX engine

– Cooling power up to 600HP

– Dual 11″ HPX aluminum fans for a total 3000 CFM

– Precision TIG welded construction

– Lifetime warranty

– Billet CNC machined filler neck

– Heavy duty plate transmission cooler

– Stainless steel hardware

Like all of our radiators, it’s made in the USA. We guarantee you’ll think it’s sexy and guarantee it to cool your car with ease. And of course our lifetime warranty on everything: radiator and fans.

For fan control, use our RH-02 Wiring Harness.

The RH-02 Wiring Harness is also great for v-belt cars with lower powered alternators. It will make sure your alternator isn’t hammered hard when the high powered fans go to work to cool your engine down. Note: Please do not shoot yourself in the foot, with a very big gun, by running the steam vent port into a port in the water pump.

Although this technically works, it also disables one of the killer features of the LSX motors. The steam vent is one of the great features of the LSX motor that allows it to run high compression (and high boost for you fellow boost junkies) on regular pump gas.
